Type selection
The type selection main consideration three points: groove width; Resolution (slit width) and Mounting
As for groove width, objects need to be detected by the slot of the groove type optical coupling, in order to avoid infrared light. Therefore, the groove width should be larger than the test objects, it is certain to have allowance and ease to install.
According to actual situation choose the groove type optical coupling whether fixed holes or not.
Mounting position: when install sensor should make the test of gear disc diameter more than slot type optical coupling optical axis 1-2 mm. In this way can effectively block the light.
Peripheral circuit parameters selection
when choosing the periphery circuit of the groove type optical coupling, first, make sure how much is the load resistance of the groove type optical coupling receiving tube, and then based on the conversion efficiency of groove type optical coupling to choose the current of the infrared transmitting tube
The faster VCL of the measured object (e.g., 1-2 KHZ), in principle of load resistance value should be smaller of the infrared receiving tube.
